After months of extensive renovation—stripped back to the bare bones—we’re proud to reopen the Market Inn in December 2024.

The Market Inn has a long and storied history. Originally built in the early 20th century, the inn has been a landmark of Bulkeley Square for generations, standing as a testament to Llangefni’s rich heritage as a bustling market town. Its charming architectural features, such as the mansard roof and gabled dormers, hint at its history as a purpose-built town pub of the interwar years. Today, those same details have been preserved, adding timeless character to a completely modernised space.

At the heart of the new Market Inn is a state-of-the-art kitchen, serving top-quality food crafted with the finest local produce. Whether you’re here for a hearty meal, a casual drink, or a special celebration, we’ve created a space that’s as inviting as it is unique.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to announce the addition of eight beautifully designed en suite bedrooms upstairs, launching in early 2025. Whether you’re visiting Llangefni for business or leisure, you’ll soon have the perfect place to relax and stay.
